"We don't really want to go into cheap manufacturing" said President Sakuraoka. When asked about the company's future, he replied, "We want to continue to go after work that adds value." That is, to continue boldly taking on the challenge of difficult, complex configurations.
"I think this really provides a motivation to our employees. So I want to continue to give them a sense of accomplishment when they complete a job that they have not done before," he concluded.
He also mentioned that they will need to be more cost-conscious in the future depending on the workpiece, and this will increase the need for Brother machines. We see potential for even more cost benefits. We will be looking out for Sacra-Tech in the future as they take on work needing high levels of skill.

Ms. Onoma is a female employee at Sacra-Tech working on the Brother machines on a daily basis.
"I am in charge of all four Brother machines, from creating the program to setup. The compact BT30 machine does not have particularly heavy tools, so even a short woman like me can use it without any problem. I think people still believe that manufacturing is a male-dominated workplace. I want to work on changing that image."
